The SMS consent form in the Accuria Client Center

About us. Knapp Business Solutions (Tax.pro) is a U.S. accounting firm providing bookkeeping, tax, and advisory services to small businesses. Accuria, at accuria.app, is our secure client portal where clients review their books, documents, and messages from their advisor.

Our text-message program. Clients of Knapp Business Solutions opt in to account-notification text messages from within their authenticated Accuria Client Center — from a one-time prompt at login or the "Text me updates" card on their dashboard. The texts notify a client when something on their account needs attention and point them back into the portal to read and act. Below is exactly what a client sees. Opting in is optional and is never required to sign up for or use our service.

The consent language

Next to an unchecked-by-default checkbox, the form reads:

Message types

After opting in, clients receive account notifications only — for example:

“New message from your advisor ([Business Name]). Open your Accuria Client Center to read & reply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
“Your advisor has a question about [Business Name]. Open your Accuria Client Center to answer. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
“A friendly reminder: your Accuria balance is $[1,234.56]. Open your Client Center to view & pay. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
